About This Blog
My name is Jason. I have a college degree in what I like to call ‘Commercial Art’ as well as ‘Studio Art’. I am currently trying to become a Web Designer.
Don’t ask about why this site looks a bit out of wack in places. I’m too busy to fix it right now.
The Mission
This site is truly just a place for me to keep notes on things that I learn. A lot of computer tasks are difficult to easily remember and the blog gives me a good reason to type these up carefully: it might help other people. Another advantage of the blog is that all of these little tricks are also easily found with automated searches. I try to give credit where credit is due, but I don’t have a lot of time to commit to this, so at other times I am simply trying to get something down before I forget about the little details that I struggled through to make the project work.
At best I hope these posts will be helpful to other people. It seems my problems are usually unique from what I can gather on the internet. Otherwise the only information available assumes that the reader already has a certain amount of knowledge about the elements involved. When it comes to Linux, that is very much the case.
